Help echo Teen Entrepreneurs Feed 3000+ kids in Durham
Fighting Summer Hunger Issues faced by school-aged children through innovation!

Fighting summer hunger + empowering teen entrepreneurs!
Due to a one-month gap in access to free/reduced lunch programs this summer, 56% of Durham Public School students are at risk of going hungry! But our teen entrepreneurs have come up with innovative business solutions to address this crisis.
With $30,000, we can launch a series of vibrant farmer’s markets and mobile food trucks to mitigate hunger faced by tens of thousands this summer.
More than a "hand out," these teen entrepreneurs have designed a fun, engaging, safe, and non-stigmatizing space for those in need, offering you a chance to uplift your community.
Our teen entrepreneurs already have the backing of businesses and community members, including:
- ReCity Labs - a collective of nonprofits providing outreach and logistical support
- Interfaith Food Shuttle - supplying produce, shelf-stable food, and food trucks
- Lakewood Social - offering a location for farmer’s markets
- Brightwood Farms - conducting cooking demos and providing video links
Will you step up to support? Your donation will help feed children and support the bright minds of our future. Let’s empower teens to help their fellow students in need.
